You may be wondering why this astrology thing is not part of another page such as Up Close or something like that. At first, I was going to put it there since this is something that is a big part of my life. After thinking about it, I felt that the topic of astrology and how I use it needed its own section. Some people do not believe in astrology, and others think of it as a girl thing. I have been called names because of my belief in astrology. In the words of some wannabe man, "you're into astrology, no wonder you're weird." The truth is that astrology works, and it is not just for girls. There are many male astrologers. I must say, I do not know of many black male astrologers, and the person who I quoted earlier was black. The issue of blacks, and black men, and what they can and cannot do needs its own section.
How do I know that astrology works? I have used it for many years. I do not mean the daily sun sign stuff you see in newspapers. I am talking about deep detailed personal birth charts. Many people do not believe in astrology. Most people who say that they do not believe in astrology have never given it a fair look. Astrology has a stigma around it. Religion is one of the big ones. People who follow the bible say that God speaks against divination. Not so fast. In the bible, there is clear support for astrology. For example…..
It is clear to me that if you follow the bible, there is clear support for astrology. God maid the planets, stars, and the constellations for a reason. The moon affects the earth, and the planets have patterns around the sun, and on and on and on. It is silly to suggest that God is against astrology. Some may bring up the stuff in Leviticus, but as it is with many other issues, the things in that book are taken out of context. Most of the other kinds of stigma have to do with what I wrote about earlier. Remember, there will always be people to abuse astrology, psychic abilities, and so on.
I feel that my personal birth chart has me pegged nicely. As a decent amount of people have at least a basic awareness of the signs, or otherwise have dealt with people and have noticed patterns. I am a Sagittarius, and that does fit some basic qualities such as a silly sense of humor, adaptable to my surroundings, and a straight forward manor. As you know, everyone is different, and astrology shows these differences. For example, I have a Moon in Capricorn. The moon controls a person's emotional makeup. This moon placement has me pegged as well. Like a Capricorn, I have a complex emotional makeup, and I will have more of a serious edge to me than other Sagittarians. Like a Capricorn, I do keep my emotions in check, and try not to display too many emotional extremes. Just like those Caps, I do need a measure of earthly success/influence to make me feel good, and respect is a big issue with me. The planet Mercury is also in Capricorn for me. Mercury controls the way a person's mind works, as in how they process information. The structure of Capricorn shows up in that area for me as well. I will not bore you with my whole chart. For those who want to see it, you can. The point is that astrology works, and it has helped me get to know myself better. It has also helped me deal with other people. If you do not care about astrology, none of this will make any difference, but try and have an open mind. I am working on a book, but I do not know when it will be done, if ever.
